[Part 2] My "ONE OF A KIND" - Tomohiro Inaba | A bespoke suit filled with my feelings, created with a tailor who embodied my character.
Tomohiro Inaba (30 years old), Assistant Sales Manager of Business Clothing on the 5th floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building chose a bespoke suit made by the Neapolitan tailor Luca Grassia as his "One of a Kind." He said he wore the suit at least once a week during the autumn and winter seasons. He ordered it last spring and it was completed in September. He said that customers would ask him, "What brand is that suit?" when he wore it, and the staff on the floor also noticed it often, so it seemed to be well-received.

I want to create my best outfit for my last year in my twenties.
Working in this field makes me increasingly desire to wear a suit like this. Initially, I was fine with either a ready-made or custom-made suit, but while I was searching for a suit that suited my preferences in terms of sizing and silhouette, Luca Gracia became available Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th floor, at just the right time.
The suit had a visibly handcrafted feel to it, and I thought, "This is great," when I came across a Luca Gracia bespoke event, which gave me the opportunity to meet Luca in person. As I explained my preferences, saying things like, "Make the rise of the trousers as deep as possible, and make the thighs wide...", Luca got more and more into the conversation, and I ended up ordering a suit with wide lapels for the jacket and a matching vest made from the same fabric.
For your character, metal buttons would definitely be the best!
I ordered a suit with a jacket lapel width of 11cm, trouser rise of 28cm, and even attention to the depth of the pleats, but when it came to the buttons, Luca insisted, "With your character, metal buttons are absolutely the best!"
When my suit arrived in September, my colleagues and seniors told me, "Inaba, we've got an interesting suit for you!" It was indeed a slightly unusual suit with metal buttons that didn't quite fit the classic materials and details, but when I tried it on, everyone praised it, saying, "It looks great! It suits your character, Inaba!" At first I was a little skeptical (laughs), but now I really love it.

For the fabric, I chose a classic pattern from Holland & Sherry's swatch book, weighing 350 grams, so that it can be worn year-round. It has a firm yet smooth texture, and you can feel the excellent tailoring that is characteristic of British-made fabrics.

Sart, who is the same age as me, is easy to talk to and understands my vibe.
When I ordered from Luca, I requested that he create a style that allows you to enjoy classic pieces in a playful way. I'm very satisfied because it allows for a wide variety of styling options, from light knitwear and tab-collar shirts with ties to casual open-collar shirts like today.
I'm often asked about the merits of handmade clothing, and while the comfort of a garment that becomes more comfortable the more you wear it is undeniable, the unique character that each tailor and factory can produce is truly one of a kind. Luca is three or four years older than me, but it's encouraging to know that there are tailors of my generation making clothes like this.
