Happy New Year!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the customers who visited us last year.
We look forward to your continued support of Salon de Shimaji this year.


Now, Ms. Shimaji's first visit of 2018 is scheduled for Saturday, January 6th.
Just like at the end of last year, the New Year's greetings are also handwritten by Ms. Shimaji.

This week's alcohol
"Celebration of the Cask Macallan 1989"
It features an aroma reminiscent of freshly baked pancakes drizzled with syrup, and a long-lasting, soft sweetness.
This is a rare 1989 vintage Macallan, a representative wine of Speyside.

Katsuhiko Shimaji
Producer of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . Born in 1941. After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University, he joined Shueisha. He was assigned to "Weekly Playboy" and became its editor-in-chief in 1983, where he created a sensation with the "Life Advice" column featuring Renzo Shibata, Toko Kon, and Ken Kaiko as respondents, growing the magazine into a million-copy publication. He later served as editor-in-chief of "PLAYBOY Japan" and "BART." After serving as representative director of Shueisha International, he retired in 2008. He is currently a writer and essayist.
