MAGNANNI , one of Spain's leading shoe brands that has been carrying on honest and meticulous shoemaking for three generations, will be holding a pattern order and color order event at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Men's Shoes. On November 18th (Sat) and 19th (Sun), staff from the brand's headquarters will be present to demonstrate the coloring process, offering a special opportunity.


MAGNANNI was founded in 1954 by Pasqual Blanco Martinez, the second-generation owner and only son of the founder, who had a keen sense of design as a shoe pattern maker since his student days. Using high-quality vegetable-tanned leather to create the shoe prototypes, and applying hand-finishing and post-dyeing to the level of a work of art, MAGNANNI creates comfortable and stylish shoes that are lightweight and highly flexible, based on the Bolognese construction method, which provides a gentle fit by constructing the half-insole and lining leather into a bag-like shape. In recent years, MAGNANNI has gained high praise not only in Spain but also in the United States, EU countries, and Japan.


Furthermore, the "Opanka" line, which combines the hand-stitched leather pleats extending from the upper to the sole (Opanka) with the Bolognese construction method, has attracted attention worldwide, as has the "Classic" line, which is priced more affordably, offering various models with leather or rubber soles using the Bolognese or Goodyear welt construction methods.

Furthermore, the Fall/Winter 2017 collection includes a new design featuring a clean, plain toe with double Opanka construction on both the inside and outside. The collection offers a pair of shoes that showcases the craftsmanship of artisans, with lustrous gradations of blue and brown.
