BALMAIN HOMME | What kind of rock and roll does designer Olivier Rousteing bring to life? The Fall/Winter outerwear collection is here.(1/2)
Designer Olivier Rousteing stated that music is an important element in shaping his signature style, and that the relationship between music and fashion is deeply intertwined, influencing each other. The collection follows the unique trajectory created by "rock" music.
The relaxed knit layering style carried over from the previous season is now combined with various elements such as camouflage, denim, leather, tartan checks, and black and white graphics, resulting in a rich color palette that makes a statement, and jackets adorned with intricate embellishments.
Left: Camouflage shearling blouson ¥831,600, distressed slim biker pants ¥160,920
PANTHER rock T-shirt: ¥66,960 Lace-up boots: ¥118,800
Right: Wool pea coat ¥432,000, distressed camouflage biker pants ¥173,880, side-zip boots ¥129,600, cable snood ¥51,840
This bomber jacket, featuring a camouflage pattern—a key element this season—creates an impactful winter look with just one piece. An eye-catching animal print T-shirt as an inner layer elevates the otherwise monotonous winter outfit. The biker jeans, with their distressed finish reminiscent of 80s rock musicians, are a meticulously crafted piece using Japanese denim and processing.
The look is completed with voluminous boots inspired by boxing shoes, made from high-quality calf leather.
This classic flannel pea coat, which is offered in different materials each season, features the brand's iconic gold buttons, giving it an elegant feel while also conveying a rugged, masculine impression. Pair it with camouflage denim, this season's theme, for a trendy look.
Additionally, the 3.5cm heeled side-zip boots, with their suede material and autumnal colors, offer a fresh take on the look. A cable-knit wool snood is also incorporated around the neck to add a seasonal touch.
