I like loungewear and pajamas made of soft, flowing fabrics with sexy cuts that make me feel like I could faint when I wear them. In that sense, the modal items from the famous British nightwear brand Derek Rose are great. They have a beautiful, well-defined silhouette. They also seem to fit very well when worn.


—I hear that changing into pajamas is good for your mental health.

Yes, apparently changing clothes has the effect of "switching between work and relaxation." People who are particular about materials often say, "Organic cotton pajamas are good," and while organic is certainly healthy, it's unprocessed and natural.
I personally prefer it when I'm wearing makeup, so I can't just leave the natural, organic look as it is.

—Please make some original underwear designs by Hoshiba as well.

I'd like to direct the creation of sexy loungewear and underwear using good materials. I'd also like to make pajamas from high-count shirt fabric.

—What kind of underwear do you usually wear?

I'm a fan of black bikinis. I own 30 to 40 of the same kind. Oops, I just spilled the beans about my underwear (laughs).


Tani is a brand that debuted at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building this fall. What are your thoughts on it?

Tani is a boxer brief, isn't it? I think boxer briefs look great on a well-built physique. The material of these Tani briefs is micromodal, and as the name "Silk Touch Collection" suggests, it's simple, soft, lightweight, and I think it's really good.

In the end, I bought a jacket. I believe that when you get down to the deepest level of fashion, it all comes down to the materials, and I was happy to find so many items made from comfortable materials, such as jackets from Caruso, Derek Rhodes, and Tani .
Also, as I mentioned when talking about La Mer lip balm, I have a strange idea about things like "sexy" and "seductive," so my perspective might be a bit erotic (laughs). But when it comes to shopping, new insights are very important.
