From Wednesday, August 23rd, the Season Goods & Accessories section on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building will be hosting a color order event for stoles by Scottish textile manufacturer BEGG. Choose your favorite color from a wide variety of options inspired by the natural beauty of Scotland, including its sea, flowers, and forests. The event runs until Tuesday, September 5th.

Founded in 1866 in Paisley, a town in the Scottish lowlands, Begg has been making paisley-patterned shawls for generations. For 150 years since its founding, Begg has continued to produce scarves, stoles, shawls, and blankets using traditional looms and machinery, focusing on natural materials such as cashmere, lamb's wool, angora, and silk. The luxurious feel, beautiful colors, and delicate, intricate, and sophisticated collections that can only be felt with high-quality materials have attracted attention from all over the world.

Begg's signature "Arran" uses teasle, a thorny plant grown in Italy, and gently brushes the surface of the fabric to create a ripple-like "nappy" texture, resulting in a cloud-like feel. It boasts the beautiful luster and colors unique to cashmere. "Wispy," on the other hand, uses approximately 8km of cashmere yarn for a single stole and is woven and finished using Begg's patented technology, resulting in a soft, sheer, lightweight cashmere stole. Extremely fine threads are used to express original prints and delicate woven designs.
