On Wednesday, August 23rd, FENDI , a leading luxury brand from Rome, Italy, will open a new men's store on the 3rd floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , in the International Designers section. The store will feature the brand's 2017 Autumn/Winter collection, born from its DNA of "craftsmanship and creativity," and will offer all categories from ready-to-wear to shoes and accessories.


The main theme of FENDI 's Fall/Winter 2017 men's collection is "FENDI Vocabulary." A simple, modern street style with colorful, hashtag-like messages scattered throughout every item, and a seemingly formal look—these two elements are brilliantly mixed, and positive thinking and the words of the "FENDI Vocabulary" come alive in a variety of items, from ready-to-wear to furs, bags, and shoes.

Silvia Fendi, born into the founding family and currently serving as the third generation creative director alongside Karl Lagerfeld, commented, "The Fendi vocabulary is made up of simple words such as LOVE, TRY, and HOPE. These are simple and commonplace words, yet they contain important meanings that will last forever and support us as we live through these challenging times. We are exposed to so many changes, and things are moving at a dizzying pace around the world. That is why I think we ourselves must evolve and look to the future with a positive and forward-looking mindset. This is what helps us as we are faced with so many changes and challenges."

The phrases "LOVE, TRY, HOPE" are inspired by some of the simplest and most essential quotes from Ernest Hemingway's collection.
