The key is to ensure the shoes are good, the pants are good, and the top is good – a "win-win-win" situation!

Itochu and Isetan Shinjuku are collaborating on a "No Suit Day" initiative, where each employee is assigned a dedicated Isetan Shinjuku stylist for a complete outfit coordination. This time, Itochu held an internal recruitment process (self-nomination and nomination by others), and 177 people expressed their interest in participating. Seven men and three women, ranging in age from their 20s to 60s, were selected.

Key points for a " suit-free day"

- Maintain a "neither too formal nor too casual" demeanor in the office and with clients to avoid causing offense. - Prioritize others over yourself. - Wear a jacket, but avoid overly casual items.

*The above dress code is based on the theme of "win-win-win!" for shoes, pants, and outerwear (jacket, etc.).

A new "trading company employee" with a youthful style appeared at the press conference!

Ten male and female employees appeared at the company's internal presentation for "No Suit Day" held at Itochu Corporation's headquarters. Female employees of Itochu looked at the men dressed in new outfits and commented, "Usually, suits and shirts are overwhelmingly common, and it's only recently that we've started wearing jeans on Jeans Day, but today's styles are very stylish. They're especially good at coordinating accessories, and you can really see the difference when a professional is involved. Everyone looks youthful and gives off the impression of a new trading company man." Others commented, "When it comes to casual wear, many employees always wear polo shirts and chinos, looking like dads on a Sunday, but today, even though the colors are subdued, they look sharp and stylish. They look more refreshing, and their smiles are wonderful."

Speaking on behalf of the employees who appeared at the company's internal presentation, Executive Vice President Takayuki Yoshida said, "This morning, when I left home in this style, my wife told me I looked younger. Changing my appearance has motivated me to change my inner self as well, so I would like to go to the gym to maintain my youth."

Fashion brings various "added benefits."

Floor attendant Yoshimura, who participated in the company presentation, said, "We respond to a variety of customer requests and introduce products, but we receive many requests throughout the year like this one, where customers want a complete makeover. For example, we help customers who are 'lost' in their wardrobe, such as wanting to improve their image before attending a matchmaking party or wanting two outfits selected for cool biz attire. When choosing clothes, customers go around to each floor and try on clothes to create their outfits, but as with this project, everyone seems to feel more positive when they encounter new clothes, and trying on clothes becomes very enjoyable. Fashion has such invisible effects, so if you're 'lost' in your wardrobe, please feel free to use our attendants' services."
