The Chino, a bottoms brand that emerged in the 90s and later went on hiatus, has been revived by a global planning and production team and is now popular in contemporary casual wear Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 6th floor, under the name The Chino Rivived. This time, we will focus on the brand's classic slim-fit model, which centers around chino pants and pursues authentic comfort.

The Chino Revived's primary focus is on materials. The slim-fit model featured here uses chino cloth made from their own proprietary 60-count cotton yarn, woven in a three-ply construction with a lightly brushed finish. The high density of the yarn results in slow deterioration over time, developing a unique vintage feel with continued wear.

Furthermore, the beautiful silhouette, neither too slim nor too baggy, is achieved through a contemporary pattern created by a skilled pattern maker and unconventional grading (enlarging or shrinking according to the required size) that makes all sizes look smart. This slim fit, with its narrower line from the knee to the hem, has a clean silhouette along the side, and features two deep back pleats to give a more three-dimensional look to the hips of Japanese women, who tend to have thinner hips.
