From June 1st (Thursday), the Contemporary Casual section on the 6th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building will be hosting a MACKINTOSH PHILOSOPHY rain gear fair. A wide variety of popular items will be available, including rainwear, shoes, and umbrellas—essential items for this time of year as we head into the rainy season.

From MACKINTOSH PHILOSOPHY , which inherits the craftsmanship spirit and classic yet contemporary style of the long-established British brand Mackintosh, comes a collection of simple yet classic rain gear to make the rainy season more enjoyable this year.

With more people carrying umbrellas due to the unpredictable weather, attractive items such as "Barbrella®," which was created with the concept of being lightweight and fashionable for portability, and "CARDIFF," a new type of rain boot in the style of business shoes, are now available in stores.
The "Barbrella®" umbrella, born from the sensibilities and practicality of rainy Britain, achieves exceptional lightness by employing a thin yet resilient fabric and carbon fiber frame. The compact model (left in the photo), with a rib length of 50cm, is the lightest type and features the colorful color options unique to MACKINTOSH PHILOSOPHY . The medium type (right in the photo), with a rib length of 55cm, is designed with men in mind, and its chic color scheme and reassuring size are also attractive features.
Furthermore, the rain boots, which have enjoyed unwavering popularity since their introduction in 2011, are now available in a new color, dark navy, in addition to the classic solid black and dark brown with a batine-like finish. While using polyvinyl chloride resin for the upper material, these boots faithfully reproduce the nuances of leather shoes, including the wrinkles, and their authentic finish makes them a perfect fit for dressy looks.

In addition, Oxford shoes with rubber soles will also be available. These shoes, with their British and authentic look, are made of water-resistant glass leather that has been further treated with a water-repellent finish, and synthetic leather is bonded to the inside.
