Men favored by the gods

On Friday, May 19th, Shimaji's long-awaited new book, "Men Favored by the Gods," was released!
Accordingly, a signing event was held at Salon de Shimaji on Saturday, May 20th, and a steady stream of enthusiastic "Shimaji fans" who had been eagerly awaiting the event came to the store.

Shimaji : "Sorry to keep you waiting. My new book is out now, a reorganized version of my email newsletter, section by section. I asked the renowned Kyoka Suzuki to write the recommendation for the book's cover. Despite her busy schedule, she took the time to read the proofs thoroughly."
I asked my dear friend, Shoji Sugawara, also known as "Sho-chan," the owner of the jazz café "Basie" in Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture, to write the preface. Sho-chan is a master writer, and he has produced a wonderful preface. This preface is a must-read. The main story also features some of the café's regular customers, so please read it carefully.
I wonder how many books Mr. Shimaji signed that day...
After Ms. Shimaji's greeting, she went on to sign autographs for each customer as a token of her gratitude. Thanks to everyone, almost all of the books we had prepared were sold out! We had to quickly place an additional order!
Shimaji : "Wow! I'm so happy! Thank you everyone! Even I, the writer, can't help but laugh at the content, so please enjoy it thoroughly."

The autograph signing session ended successfully, and Mr. Shimaji and the customers were in high spirits. The drinks flowed freely, and finally, Shimaji's original limited-edition whiskey sold out completely. The empty bottles will be tallied and given to the top sellers. Stay tuned!

Shimaji: "Life is about luck, connections, and intuition. This book is full of information on those things. If you're a 'Shimajiist' and haven't bought it yet, hurry up!"
