Since his Paris Fashion Week debut in 1981, Yohji Yamamoto, who expresses the style of "unidentifiable" men with a free spirit unbound by societal norms, will open a limited-time pop-up store. It will be held at the International Creators section on the 2nd floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building from Wednesday, April 12th to Tuesday, April 18th.



This limited-time Yohji Yamamoto focuses on the showroom that Yohji Yamamoto opened on Rue Saint-Martin in Paris in 1984, after his Paris Fashion Week debut, and which has supported the brand as the venue for presenting all of its collections to this day . The store's floor is adorned with floor plans of the showroom and show venues, and the walls display backstage footage from past shows, offering a glimpse into the brand's history and revealing aspects of the brand that are not usually seen .

During the event, jackets and trousers that are reproductions of the brand's early collections will also be sold. These items, which will be sold only at a limited number of stores in Japan, including Isetan Shinjuku, will be presented as a replica collection of the first season's Autumn/Winter 1984 collection, which was unveiled at the Saint Martin showroom .

Furthermore, the long jacket, featuring an embroidered drawing by designer Yohji Yamamoto himself, is a one-of-a-kind exclusive item specially prepared for this occasion. In addition to the embroidery, the jacket is adorned with prints and sequins, resulting in a truly unique and unconventional piece.
