In conjunction with the "JAPAN SENSES" campaign, which started on Wednesday, March 29th and focuses on Japanese traditions, techniques, and creativity, we will be introducing items from three brands available on the 6th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , that have collaborated with traditional Japanese techniques.

PRINGLE 1815 / Pringle 1815 Shirt ¥18,360

This short-sleeved shirt features a panel design on the front using Kokura-ori fabric with alternating vertical and horizontal stripe directions. The sleeves and back are made of jersey material, ensuring ease of movement and a comfortable fit.

Agnes b.HOMME coat: ¥64,800

Using Mayo-Myo*, a fabric that Mitsukoshi Isetan has been featuring since 2015, we have taken advantage of its refreshing and soft, comfortable properties to create a long tailored coat that is a symbol of the brand, resulting in an item that combines a chic look with a relaxed feel.

Left / This fabric, characterized by its navy base and finely spaced stripes, is called "Kokura-ori," a traditional fabric from the Kokura region of Kyushu, and is mainly used for yukata and kimono. The garment is sewn in the same factory as suits, resulting in a three-dimensional silhouette.
The chest pocket lining features the Crestbridge check pattern in a color exclusive to Mitsukoshi Isetan, and can be pulled out and used as a pocket square.

Right / Made with Mayo-Myo* material, which is soft to the touch, quick-drying, and has a refreshing feel. Attention to detail is evident in the band collar, authentic placket design, and gathered tucks.

This garment uses Niwa Shomoori's Amunzen fabric, which has a high density, a unique crinkled texture, and beautiful drape. It consists of a relaxed, collarless blouson and trousers with a two-pleat design.
