Last year, we featured CERRUTI 1881 during Italy Week. Starting as a fabric manufacturer in the Biella region of Italy, the third generation, Nino Cerruti, leveraged the expertise cultivated as a high-end fabric manufacturer to venture into apparel production, and in 1957, they presented their menswear collection at Milan Fashion Week.
They have had a tremendous influence on the world of men's clothing by accurately capturing the trends of the times through their style proposals and by actively providing costumes for movies.


The Spring/Summer 2017 collection from Cerruti 1881 is a season that elegantly expresses the style of Naples, Italy, in a way that is uniquely Cerruti 1881. The styling interprets the spirit (specifications) and local characteristics (climate and topography) in a way that is distinctly Cerruti 1881.
Because Naples has a relatively mild climate compared to other parts of Europe, the key to the garments is to minimize the use of interlining, resulting in a light and soft finish. To prevent the garments from looking flat, the patterns are designed using Cubism (a technique that unfolds three-dimensional elements into a two-dimensional world), creating a three-dimensional visual effect.


In addition to the main theme color, "Naples Blue," we are also offering Capri Blue, symbolized by the Blue Grotto, making this a season rich in variations of blue. Please come and see them in stores.
