LBM 1911 | Co-developing Italian-made suits "worth wearing" for Japanese businessmen.

- Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building 1F Promotion
Let's enjoy fashion in our everyday lives, just like Italian men!
The 7th annual "PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO AT ISETAN MEN'S" will finally open on Wednesday, February 1st.
In the " Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building is completely immersed in Pitti" event, which showcases the 2017 Spring/Summer collections of various brands that exhibited at Pitti Uomo throughout the entire Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , featuring approximately 150 brands, the historic Italian factory brand LBM 1911 will be appearing in the promotion area on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .
Of particular interest is the "LBM1911 with Isetan Mitsukoshi" suit project, a joint development between LBM 1911 and Isetan Mitsukoshi. This suit is set to become a new standard for Japanese businessmen.
Is the suit you wear for work a form of self-realization or self-expression?
Those of you reading Isetan Men's Net articles likely wear suits with a clear intention, and your style should encompass both "self"—to present yourself in the best light—and "other"—for effective communication. Furthermore, "self-realization" as you advance in your career and "self-expression" that subtly conveys your individuality are also essential elements in suit selection and coordination.
As you know, Isetan Men's carries top suit brands from around the world, including Japan, the UK, Italy, and the US. However, some customers say, "Italian suits are too stylish..." While Italian suits, with their emphasized chests, shapely waists, shorter jackets, and low-rise trousers, are suitable for "self-expression," they are not universally suitable for business settings.
Therefore, for those who want to wear a suit—their "power suit"—in a stylish way, or who want to try an Italian-made suit, we have created a suit that is practical, easy to wear, and allows you to experience the charm of Italy.

A suit that sparks the joy of dressing up has been created through collaborative development.
Mitsukoshi Isetan has chosen Lubiam, one of Italy's oldest menswear factories, as its partner for the joint development of suits.
Founder Luigi Bianchi launched the brand Luigi Bianchi Mantova in 1911, combining his name with the name of the city where the brand was founded. In 2006, Rubiam revived the historically significant label and relaunched Luigi Bianchi Mantova. In the same year, LBM 1911 was also created as a sportswear line, combining the initials of the label with the year of its founding.
Rubiam was awarded the prestigious "PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO 2016 Award" in recognition of its long-standing achievements in menswear.
While LBM 1911 is strongly associated with jackets, the suit project "LBM 1911 with Isetan Mitsukoshi," as mentioned earlier, started with the aim of creating Italian-made suits that many businessmen could wear regularly. It has achieved a valuable product as "the first Italian suit you'll ever wear."

Original suits that strike a perfect balance between fashion, functionality, and price.
The original suits featured in this promotion at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1F, employ a pattern that fits the Japanese physique, with a high gorge line on the jacket to create the illusion of height and a smarter look. Furthermore, special underarm pads have been added to accommodate Japan's humid climate, reflecting customer feedback. The suits are also priced from around 80,000 yen, making them more affordable than typical Italian-made suits.
Furthermore, for a limited time during the promotion period, we will be accepting color orders using this original suit pattern. At this first-ever order event at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , we will have a wide selection of fabric swatches available, allowing you to have your suit tailored in your preferred fabric.

The matching trousers feature a clean, tapered silhouette, making them comfortable even for desk work. Available in sizes 42-50, they can accommodate a wide range of body types.
Furthermore, after the promotion ends on February 7th (Tuesday), "LBM 1911 with Isetan Mitsukoshi" will be available at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th floor = Business Clothing/Trend Selection. So, if you tried it on and were interested, please head up to the 5th floor.
Lightweight, soft, and exuding just the right amount of allure, this Italian-made suit, tailored to your specifications, is a standard for today's fashion world. Please enjoy wearing it.
LBM 1911's signature "garment-washed" jackets are also included in the lineup.
At the LBM 1911 pop-up event on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , in addition to the jointly developed original suits, the brand will also be showcasing its signature garment-washed and garment-dyed jackets. You can see the latest Spring/Summer collection.
LBM 1911 boasts high quality that underpins its casual and modern impression, and its dyeing techniques are also outstanding. Enjoy a jacket that "has character from the moment you buy it."
Furthermore, the exhibition includes Rubiam's 100-year-old swatch books (fabric samples) and old sewing tools, as well as certificates of awards that demonstrate the high regard the company has received domestically, including from the Italian Republic and international art and fashion centers, since its founding. Be sure to also take a look at the aforementioned "PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO 2016 Award" trophy.
