Parafanaria V-neck T-shirt: ¥4,860
PARAPHERNALIA offers luxurious underwear made from high-quality, carefully selected materials, designed to be coordinated with contemporary clothing and shoes.
This garment uses "hanging jersey" knitted on a "hanging knitting machine," which is said to exist only in Wakayama. Knitted at an extremely slow speed of only 1 meter per hour, it expresses the inherent qualities of cotton by applying almost no tension to the yarn, resulting in a fluffy, soft texture that feels as if air has been knitted into the fabric.
Double-layered tape is used on the shoulders and neck area to prevent deformation after washing and to prevent the garment from losing its shape while worn.

Furthermore, the hems and sleeves are sewn using a "pull stitch" technique. This technique involves folding the fabric at the hem and cuffs of the T-shirt and sewing it with a single-needle overlock sewing machine, resulting in a clean finish with no visible seams on the outside. This type of stitching is prone to slipping or being sewn too deeply depending on the tension applied during sewing, so it requires skilled craftsmanship.
Although the surface of the fabric appears to have only tiny dots of stitching, making it look flimsy at first glance, the structure of the stitching provides superior tensile strength in the direction of the seam compared to flat double-needle stitching, making it suitable for stretchy knit fabrics.
