Kaneko: This time, on the 8th floor of the men's section, Charlie Weiss will be opening a "Christmas Station" where customers can place personal orders for Christmas items, which is a first for Nikolai. Decorating Christmas trees with children is becoming an important activity in Japan as well.
Nikolai, you're absolutely right. Strengthening family bonds is very important and precious. I've been running my first shop in Japan for 16 years now, and Christmas is something I cherish very much.
I'm also looking forward to hearing about Christmas as presented by Nikolai Kaneko, who was born in Denmark .
Nikolai: When my father was a child, in Denmark, people would go to cut down a fir tree on the morning of the 24th, and that day was the day to decorate the tree. Now it's common to start decorating from December 1st, but wreaths and trees are tools for family communication. At "Christmas Station," I hope to be able to offer advice on how to create something personal.
I didn't feel this way when I was single, but Christmas is special now that I have a family.

Nicolai Vase uses plenty of finely chopped natural materials, mainly Japanese conifers such as cedar and cypress, and the trees, baskets, and wreaths all have the scent of the forest.

Because Nicolai ornaments use natural materials such as nuts and seeds, no two are exactly alike. Of course, you are free to choose any combination of ornaments you like.
