Recently, Ms. Shimaji has taken a liking to galuchat (stingray leather). She wears many items made of galuchat, including a watch strap, a boutonniere, and cufflinks. To top it all off, she even ordered a pair of glasses made of galuchat.

Salon de Shimaji boutonnieres are also available for purchase at the Isetan online store.

Shimaji : "I own over 100 pairs of glasses, and many of them are made by a genius craftsman in France. Because I own so many, he was able to accommodate my selfish requests and made me a one-of-a-kind pair of stingray leather glasses!"


Mr. Shimaji was so determined to fulfill this request that he sent an email to the craftsman with a picture of the watch strap and asked him to match the color of the galuchat leather.
The way he placed his order was exactly what you'd expect from the stylish yakuza, Shimaji-san...

Shimaji : "We'll be holding a custom boutonniere pattern order event soon. Instead of the usual flower shapes, we'll be making them in the shapes of cats, skulls, and pipes. The prices will be reasonable, so please come and have one made. And when you do, show it to me!"
