Slow is a leather brand that develops products based on American casual and American traditional styles that have been loved across generations. They create items that become more beautiful with use and can be cherished for a long time, utilizing the skills that Japanese craftsmen are proud of.
From November 23rd (National Holiday, Wednesday), the Slow Promotion will be held at the Men's Bags section on the B1 floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , where we will be introducing new items from our 2016 Autumn/Winter collection. At the same time, we will be holding a custom order event for bags.


What is the vegetable-tanned leather specially ordered from the historic Tochigi Leather company?

The focus of this promotion is the "bono" series, one of the brand's most popular lines. This series uses leather (natural leather) from Tochigi Leather Co., Ltd., a tannery founded in 1937 that is world-renowned for its full vegetable tanning process using traditional pit tanning methods.

The full-vegetable tanned leather used in "Buono" is specially ordered from the company. Tanned slowly and carefully using powdered tannins extracted from the bark of South American mimosa trees, without the use of any harmful substances, the leather is characterized by its wild appearance. It has a firm yet soft texture, and the color deepens with use, making it a material that can be enjoyed as it ages.

In addition to popular classics, new bags from "Buono" have arrived.

Inspired by classic hunting bags, the "Hunting Shoulder Bag" is crafted entirely from leather. The pockets on the front, back, and interior offer the ample storage capacity expected of a hunting bag. This model combines functionality with refined elegance.

This all-leather backpack features eye-catching double buckles on the flap. The fasteners used to connect the shoulder straps to the main body are a reproduction of those found on vintage outdoor backpacks, making it comfortable to carry for people of all shoulder widths. The front buckle opens and closes easily with a snap button, adding to its user-friendliness. With its clean design and size that comfortably fits A4 documents, this model is easy to use for both work and casual occasions.


During the event, a limited-time custom order service will be available. You can choose from a total of five styles: two types of tote bags and three types of shoulder bags. You can select from four main body colors, four colors for the leather accents such as the handles, and five types of lining materials.
