Our customers at Salon de Shimaji range in age from their 20s to their late 80s. Often, conversations become lively as customers teach or learn from each other.

Customer : "For some reason, I've been wanting to see my best friend from my hometown for the first time in a while..."

Shimaji: "Well, I suppose friendship is the most precious thing of all."

Mr. Shimaji describes the bar counter as a study desk for life, and the staff learns a lot from him.
