Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th floor = Made to Measure will host a measurement session on August 21st (Sunday) by talented young tailor Shigeaki Naoi.

Shigeaki Naoi is renowned for his tailoring that pursues masculinity and a light, comfortable feel. After training as a tailor for four years at one of Japan's leading long-established tailors in Ginza, he worked on hand-sewn tailored garments for men's brands, while simultaneously acquiring skills in pattern making and cutting. His style is not that of any Milanese, Florentine, or Neapolitan sartorial style, but rather he has built his own unique tailoring by actively incorporating the techniques and styles he deems necessary.

The suit that captivated Mr. Naoi, who has gained experience in various settings, is one with a beautiful tailoring that combines a masculine chest volume with a light and soft feel reminiscent of Neapolitan tailoring, without shoulder pads. In particular, the strength created by the broad shoulders and wide lapels, and the softness woven by the unique tailoring, perfectly embody his style.
