06.29 Wed -07.12 Tue
Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building 4F International Luxury

Starting Wednesday, June 29th, in conjunction with the "ISETAN JAPAN SENSES" campaign held throughout the Isetan Shinjuku store, which aims to showcase the best of Japan as a new value both domestically and internationally, a Sekitowa promotion will be held on the 4th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building in the International Luxury section.

Sekitowa is a new Japan premium brand from Mitsukoshi ISETAN MEN'S . The brand name, which is a combination of "accumulation" and "harmony," was born from the idea of combining the skills of craftsmen and connecting customers with craftsmen.
We deliver beloved items that blend Japanese materials with Western culture, that is, with a modern lifestyle, created with refined aesthetics, materials, and techniques.

Two lines: 'Miyabi' and 'Iki'

The theme of "Miyabi," a brand that proposes an elegant lifestyle for men, is "gold leaf." The clothing and accessories, made from carefully selected materials, are adorned with the techniques of gold leaf artist Yuto Rekisho. The high-quality hoodies and pants, knitted from cashmere in a pile weave, are each adorned with gold leaf that has a unique appearance. A special technique called "gold leaf surface" is used to add a variety of colors to the gold and silver leaf. The expression of gold leaf, which can often be excessive, is delivered with an exquisite balance of splendor and elegance.

Meanwhile, the theme of "Iki," which proposes items that modern men are particular about, is "indigo dyeing." We introduce shoes and bags made with "Sukumo Leather," a rare natural indigo-dyed leather that is dyed in Kyoto using Tokushima Awa indigo, which is a national intangible cultural property. The deep, unique color of indigo produced by the traditional manufacturing method that has continued for about 600 years, and the hand-dyed items, each with a different dyeing pattern, will change in color as they are used, reflecting the lifestyle and personality of the person who owns them.

This marks the first appearance of Sekitowa at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . Please come and see their products, which seem to preserve and nurture the culture of their country, in store.
