Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 7th Floor = Authentic Casual will be hosting "Work Essence," an event showcasing new spring/summer suit fashion, starting Wednesday, March 2nd.
"Work Essence" offers suiting as utility wear to make outdoor life more comfortable. It's a new style that reinterprets the iconic men's military and workwear themes in a modern way.

The participating brands include BARENA LAVORATORIO, which is making its debut, as well as HERVIER PRODUCTIONS, KAPTAIN SUNSHINE, KENNETH FIELD, and SOUNDMAN, for a total of five brands.

Each brand evokes an image of a fashionable style that allows you to enjoy nature while engaging in active activities such as camping. This time, we'll introduce two brands that are particularly noteworthy.




Herbier Productions is a factory brand based in the Sartre region of France, specializing in workwear. Still committed to "Made in France," they based their designs on sleeved vests and French military pants, both seen in vintage French clothing. The result is a product that maximizes the workwear feel and the texture of linen.

This is a relaxed-fit suit set inspired by the three-piece suits worn by workers in the early 20th century. It uses Finx cotton, a select variety of Giza cotton, which is an extra-long staple Egyptian cotton. The fabric has a firm texture and body, yet is soft and lustrous, thanks to the use of high-quality raw materials. The ultra-high density weave also provides water resistance that can withstand light rain.
