Leica Camera Japan will be releasing a special limited edition model, the "LEICA T “CHALIE VICE”," on March 10th (Thursday) in a limited run of 50 sets at Leica stores, Leica boutiques, and select retailers. Prior to that, the "LEICA T “CHALIE VICE” Special Selection," a product of Charlie's meticulous attention to detail, will be released on February 17th (Wednesday) in a limited run of 20 sets at "THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE" on the 8th floor of Isetan Men's Residence.

The special limited edition "LEICA T “CHALIE VICE”" is a collaboration with Charlie Weiss, a gentleman who is always traveling somewhere in the world and knows how to enjoy life to the fullest. The Leica T body is colored in indigo, inspired by Charlie's favorite navy blue, giving it a deep and sophisticated presence befitting a gentleman.

The limited edition "LEICA T “CHALIE VICE” Special Selection," limited to 20 sets, includes a blue Leica T body and a leather furoshiki (wrapping cloth) specially made by the Japanese leather brand "YUHAKU." This furoshiki is made from Italian overkip leather, which is characterized by its unique aging process, and has been thinned to the extreme to create the fabric.

By using a fine dyeing process at the nano-level, a more durable gradient is achieved, and the colors reproduce Charlie's favorite navy blue with a blue gradient as envisioned by YUHAKU. On the other side, the fabric is dyed by Edo Komon Hirose with "Same Komon," one of the oldest patterns among small-patterned designs, and can be used in a variety of ways depending on your ideas, not just to wrap your camera.


The works of photographer Ryoma Kashiwagi will be on display.

To commemorate the release of the "LEICA T “CHALIE VICE” Special Selection," a photo gallery titled "Salomé," featuring photographs taken with the Leica T by Ryoma Kashiwagi, a photographer and friend of Charlie's who also uses the Leica T, will be held from February 17th (the release date) to March 1st (Tuesday) at "THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE" on the 8th floor of Isetan Men's Residence.

Equipped with a newly developed high-performance image processing engine and image sensor, the Leica T delivers high-quality images in all conditions. Charlie Weiss's travel companion on his world journeys arrives in a beautiful indigo blue body.
