Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , B1F Men's Shoes Corner will launch its Winter Boot Fair on December 2nd. Winter is just around the corner. Boots from outdoor brands offer practicality and functionality, making them perfect for the coldest season and also ideal for everyday wear. We have coordinated basic items that exude a relaxed and unpretentious feel using items available at the International Creators Corner on the 2nd floor of the same building. We propose a slow style using boots from three classic outdoor brands—The North Face, Columbia, and Sorel—with a unique "WWD Japan" perspective.

The North Face's "Nuptse Bootie" has the warm look of a down jacket. Made with elegant compressed wool, it's a perfect shoe for everyday wear in the city. The set-up, featuring a warm wide-wale corduroy jacket, is oversized despite being a tailored jacket. The pants are also wide, and the elastic waistband adds to the ease of wear. Rolling up the hems creates a nice balance with the boots.

The Columbia "Chakeipi Pack Slip," characterized by its vintage-inspired retro silhouette, is paired with a long, padded coat from Sunsea. An Unused velour parka is worn underneath for a clean, streamlined look. The sweatpants, in a similar color to the boots, have ribbed hems. The outfit focuses on Japanese brands with edgy designs, while also maintaining a relaxed feel.

The inside uses a material that reflects and retains body heat, providing a warm and comfortable feel. Sorel's iconic "Caribou" boots boast a timeless design that has remained unchanged for over 40 years, making them a perfect match for traditional coats. By coordinating items from European brands like Acne Studios and MARNI in similar tones, we aimed for a basic yet stylish look. The color gradation created by using items with slightly different nuances feels fresh and modern.
