Inverallan is a Scottish factory brand. Each handmade knit garment, which takes nearly 100 hours to knit by skilled artisans, comes with a tag signed by the artisan. This particular piece uses eco-friendly wool, which retains the natural color of the wool without dyeing or bleaching, taking advantage of its unique properties. Because the tension applied by each artisan varies, the fit may differ slightly, which is a characteristic of handmade items. While Inverallan is often associated with handmade items, their hand-framed sweaters are also not to be missed. Using precious, existing hand frames, they faithfully knit traditional knitting patterns. The yarn used is lightweight and comfortable lambswool.
