Salon de Shimaji, a hidden gem known only to those in the know.

What kind of customers are visiting today?

Many customers visit Salon de Shimaji after reading Ms. Shimaji's books. We have many repeat customers, of course, but also many first-time visitors. It may take some courage to open the first door, but once you do, Ms. Shimaji is always looking forward to welcoming you.

If there are any of Shimaji-san's books you haven't seen yet, they are available in-store, so please feel free to take a look. We also offer autographs from Shimaji-san, so please don't hesitate to ask. We'd be happy to do so! They are also available for purchase in our online store , but if you purchase them there, please bring them in when you have time!
Each book contains a different message. The message from Mr. Shimaji, author of the book pictured above , "Riding on the coattails of a complete stranger," is "More light!"

Here is this week's proverb
A single love letter wiped out an entire village.

"I want you to read this quote because I really want you to read 'HHhH Prague, 1942'."
The book recommended to me is the story of the mastermind behind the Nazi genocide of Jews and the two young men who assassinated him, and it's said to be a book that will surely make you love reading. I hope that visiting Salon de Shimaji will be a place that sparks a love of reading for our customers.

By the way... we also have a Shimaji figure in the salon. It's very small, but it's watching over everyone. When you visit, try to find where it is. We are looking forward to your visit!
