JOHNLAWRENCESULLIVAN, the brand helmed by designer Arashi Yanagawa, has opened a pop-up store focusing on its 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection at the International Creators section on the 2nd floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . The store will be open until August 24th (Monday).


This season expresses the tension where strength and delicacy, the essential and the new, intersect. With "overlapping, folding, and slamming" as keywords, various techniques were used to create structured silhouettes. As exemplified by the Chester coat with its striking action pleats visible on the front, the collection focuses on sewing details that make the most of the materials and incorporates many designs that pursue a three-dimensional feel.
Furthermore, the collection incorporates new sensibilities into classic materials like Melton and flannel, such as bonding smooth jersey and Melton with added windproof functionality, and using fine-gauge yarns for classic flannel to create a relaxed yet elegant texture. The newly introduced Ultrasuede is characterized by its plump thickness and lightness, and is used in jacket components and oversized coats.
Based on navy, mocha beige, and gray tones, the collection is composed of blue, orange, yellow, and silver accents. It's a collection that combines classic elements with modern touches, resulting in a futuristic aesthetic.


During this period, oversized T-shirts, which will be available exclusively at our directly managed stores, will be released in advance, along with a wide selection of accessories, mainly bags, which will also be available only at our directly managed stores.
