MIHARAYASUHIRO | New line "Modified" launched, pop-up shop to be held


MIHARAYASUHIRO is hosting a pop-up shop for its new line, "Modified."

 "Modified" is a collection based on the concept of "things that have been modified from existing forms or transformed from existing forms." Vintage items from the 1940s onward are selected from various countries, and the atelier team led by designer Yasuhiro Mihara deconstructs and reconstructs them to pursue the best aspects of vintage. Because each piece is made entirely by hand, every item is one of a kind. Another feature is that the sizes have been resized to suit modern tastes, so you can coordinate them without worrying about the fit. New materials have also been added to some of the most popular items in MIHARAYASUHIRO's archives, giving them a new lease on life.


"DETAIL JACKET" This tailored jacket, a staple of MIHARAYASUHIRO, has been remade using five different types of military shirts and denim, while retaining the original patches and elbow patches. It's a detail jacket that directly expresses the brand's identity. ¥77,760 (tax included)


"DETAIL BLOUSON PRICE" Based on the MA-1 model that was also presented in the 15SS collection, this new MA-1 has been reconstructed by adding details from vintage mod coats and M-65 jackets. Left: ¥73,440 (tax included) Right: ¥70,200 (tax included)


The "PANEL G JACKET" is a remade denim jacket with panels cut out and patched with hand stitching, giving it a unique handmade feel. It's an item full of attention to detail, from the stitching to the random color scheme. ¥91,800 (tax included)


"DETAIL SHIRT" This unique shirt is created by using five vintage garments, deconstructing them with a unique interpretation, and then re-sewing them. The silhouette replicates that of a classic oversized shirt. With cargo pants incorporated into the front and patches added in various places, this item is meticulously crafted and will attract attention even from those who aren't vintage enthusiasts. 51,840 yen (tax included)


"PATCHWORK SHIRT MILITARY DENIM MIX" This patchwork shirt, a well-balanced combination of military and denim shirts, pairs well with sophisticated outfits. The use of two different fabrics on the cuffs and collar lining adds attention to detail, making it an item that can be used to create different looks. ¥75,600 (tax included)


"PATCHWORK DENIM SHIRT" A large-sized patchwork denim shirt made using a large amount of denim fabric. Each shirt features unique buttons, and meticulous attention to detail is evident in the careful stitching, including the removal of pockets during the patchwork process. The patchwork is strategically placed to highlight the varying shades of denim. ¥75,600 (tax included)


"BREACH DENIM SHIRT" - A denim shirt turned inside out and boldly bleached. After drying, the faded areas and indigo sections are shaded as if painting a picture. The areas where the fabric is doubled are carefully treated to prevent color bleeding. A simple color block created by bleaching rather than using fabric panels. 41,040 yen (tax included)


"SHORT PANTS W/A HOOD" - Long cargo pants reimagined as shorts. The design features meticulous details, such as a hood from a military coat sewn onto the hem and a drawstring or tape detail at the cuff. The waist is adjustable. ¥41,040 (tax included)


"DOCKING SHORT PANTS" - Long military pants reimagined as shorts. A military shirt body is attached to the shorts, creating a unique remake design. Attention to detail is evident in features such as the drawstring or tape attached to the hem. The waist is adjustable. ¥37,800 (tax included)


"MILITARY SHORT PANTS" - Military pants reimagined as shorts. This item is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, such as the way coat sleeves and front panels are attached to the hem. It features playful design elements, including pockets from coats and jackets. ¥34,560 (tax included)
