Vitale Barberis Canonico, a company with a spinning mill in the Biella region of Italy, boasts a history of over 350 years. It is globally renowned as one of the leading integrated spinning companies, directly importing wool from Australia and producing everything from yarn spinning to finished fabric. By focusing on worsted flannel with counts of 74, 56, and 18 microns or less, spun in its own factory, and concentrating its color and pattern offerings, the company has achieved high cost performance, supporting the rise of classic Italian fashion in the 1990s.

The spring/summer materials we're introducing this time include a variety of fabrics, such as mohair wool fabric that can only be produced by a limited number of integrated spinning mills in the Biella region, highly twisted yarn with 1,200 rotations per minute, wool using 104-count double yarn for both warp and weft, and Super 120's wool fabric using 74-count double yarn. In particular, our Wool Tropical fabric adheres to the policy of using double yarn for both warp and weft, resulting in a stable physical property and a finish that drapes beautifully.
As the global textile market sees new players gaining momentum from Eastern Europe and China with their inexpensive labor, we present a wide variety of fabrics from Canonico, a company that continues to grow dramatically thanks to its reliable quality and sophisticated designs.
