Learn from master craftsmen's secret techniques! Popular maintenance event to be held at "ISETAN Leather Expo 2026"

Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Men's Shoes will be hosting the shoe maintenance event again this year, which is always a hit at the Leather Fair.
We've invited specialists from care product manufacturers. The program is packed with valuable learning that can be applied to home care.

Dates: September 19th (Sat), September 20th (Sun), September 26th (Sat), September 27th (Sun)
Event Hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day (Last entry at 7:30 PM)

Boot Black Shoe Maintenance

A Boot Black expert reveals his maintenance techniques.

Two shoe care experts from Boot Black , a prestigious name in shoe care products, will be visiting our store. Mr. Narita, a shoe shiner who has showcased his skills at Pitti Uomo, and Mr. Mitsuhashi, a shoe colorist, will be visiting and will present case studies demonstrating the full potential of the company's products.

You'll learn firsthand how to choose the right care products for a beautiful finish and how to use them effectively, which should be helpful for your at-home care routine.

*Please note that either Mr. Narita or Mr. Mitsuhashi may be absent during the conference.

[Example Menu]
■ Pre-maintenance: From 1,100 yen per pair. We offer pre-maintenance services for brand new shoes before you wear them for the first time.
■ Polishing: From 2,200 yen per pair. We will polish your shoes right in front of you while listening to your requests.
■Custom Shoe Cream: From 3,300 yen / 1 color We will mix shoe cream on the spot to match the color of your shoes. *Please bring your shoes with you.
■Coloring: From ¥19,800 per pair. We will color your shoes to your desired color. Smooth leather only. Depending on the color of your shoes, we may not be able to fulfill your request.
■Delivery: Polishing and custom cream application will be completed on the same day; coloring will be available approximately 2 months later.


*Please note that visits may be canceled or changed due to unforeseen circumstances. Also, staff may be absent at certain times. Thank you for your understanding.
