PRADA was founded in 1913 by Mario Prada, the grandfather of Miuccia Prada, in the upscale Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan as a specialty store selling luxury travel goods and accessories made with refined techniques and high-quality materials. It became a favorite spot for the aristocracy and the upper class of Europe, particularly those of refined elegance. In 1919, it was appointed a supplier to the Italian Royal Family, and since then, the PRADA logo has incorporated the coat of arms of the House of Savoy and a knotted rope. Today, Prada continues to innovate in all areas and is a leading brand in the fashion world not only in Italy but also globally, constantly attracting attention and offering a wide range of products including clothing, bags, leather goods, shoes, jewelry, eyewear, and fragrances.
