HOUSE OF TAILOR LA SCALA

Nobuhito Yamaguchi of LA SCALA is a rising young tailor. After working in a Japanese suit factory, he traveled alone to Europe and trained in the UK and Italy. He was greatly influenced by the tailoring techniques of Naples, Italy, and absorbed much from leading Neapolitan tailors. His tailoring, which expresses his aesthetic sense with broad shoulders, a masculine chest, and an overwhelmingly light feel, is among the best of Japanese tailors. Above all, his experience working directly with customers as a tailor at Isetan Shinjuku allows him to create suits that flatter the Japanese physique in the most elegant way. From March 21, 2018, LA SCALA 's made-to-measure line will be launched on the 5th floor of the men's building. The essence of his suits has been brilliantly incorporated into the made-to-measure line, resulting in a light feel, incorporating the Neapolitan atmosphere that influenced him, while being a more standard model.
