Founded in 1962 by Lucia Pasin Landi, the current president, who inherited a lace factory in Bologna, northern Italy from her Swiss grandmother, FRAY is a shirtmaker belonging to the Classico Italia Association. FRAY shirts are created through a fusion of handcrafted work by skilled artisans—a skill now said to be rare—and machine work. Using carefully selected high-quality fabrics, the delicate and graceful silhouettes born from meticulously considered and precise cutting exude refined elegance. This is why it is considered one of the finest machine-made shirts.
