Cento Felina was created to commemorate Oakuni Japan's 100th anniversary. Its name, derived from an Italian neologism meaning "100 happinesses," carries the message, "May much happiness come to those who wear them." The patina, applied by craftsmen who trained at a certain fashion house, is created by individually blending dyes, resulting in a look reminiscent of imported shoes.
