TSUCHIYA KABAN, a leather goods brand imbued with a passion for craftsmanship, will be holding a promotion at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor, from September 16th (Wed) to September 29th (Tue).

This sales event will feature a lineup centered around new items unveiled at the 109th PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO. We will showcase a wide variety of products, including the "ROUNDRIDER," a special collaboration with the Japanese leather product brand A LEATHER; the "TSUCHIYA L/AND," an adult version of a schoolbag shoulder strap; and the "TSUCHIYA L/AND mini," a miniature version utilizing schoolbag technology. In addition, we will also offer Tsuchiya Kaban's classic products, including long-selling items.

This is a special collaboration item with the leather product brand A LEATHER. The brand's iconic rider's jacket has been incorporated into the flap of this school bag. The zippers on the collar motif on the front, the sleeve motif on the side, and the dummy pocket modeled after a coin pocket are all functional. The zippers and snaps use metal parts that are actually used in A LEATHER products, demonstrating a commitment to faithful craftsmanship down to the smallest detail.

This model is based on Tsuchiya Kaban's school bags, but redesigned with specifications that are easier for adults to use. The beautiful silhouette remains the same, but the length of the handles and shoulder straps has been updated. Utilizing the skills and sensibilities cultivated over many years, it is beautifully finished by the hands of skilled craftsmen.

This miniature model follows the design and manufacturing methods of a traditional school backpack. Key features include the cushioned back, the sturdy box-shaped form, and the metal fittings used in actual backpacks. By changing the position of the shoulder strap attachment, it can be used as both a backpack and a shoulder bag.
